WEDNESDAY, JUNE 5 AT THE LOCK TAVERN

Come join us for a cozy evening at the Lock Tavern! We will be presenting short films in partnership with the Queer Filmmakers Network!

This evening will also serve as a casual social and networking event for those who work in film or adjacent industries and to help spread the love of short films in London’s queer community. You do not have to work in these industries to attend. We will also have TV & Film trivia games to help you break the ice and make new connections.

There are two types of tickets available due to limited seating.

Short Films & Social: Includes the screening of the short films, in addition to the social following. Short films will begin at 8 PM sharp.

Social Only: For those that wish to join just for the social/networking. You are welcome to arrive from 7:30 PM but seating and/or unrestricted view of the screenings is not guaranteed. You’re welcome to enjoy the gorgeous rooftop terrace and full bar while the screenings are taking place. 

About Glass Closet Events:

Glass Closet Events produces queer events for the LGBTQ+ community of greater London. We offer a variety of events ranging from creative socials to after parties and club nights! We aim to make all of our events financially accessible to all. You can find out more about us on instagram or tiktok. 

About the Queer Filmmakers Network: 

The Queer Filmmakers Network aims to connect, support and champion LGBTQIA+ Filmmakers.

We are here to create new opportunities and spaces for queer stories, ushering in some much needed diversity on both sides of the lens. We organise networking events, talks and screenings with the view of building an active peer group and offering support to all members through our platform. We welcome all levels of experience, whether you are just starting out or an established filmmaker, we want to hear from you. Interested in joining us? Accessibility: The Lock Tavern has offered us the second story, which is up a narrow flight of stairs. There are no accessible toilets on-site. Toilets are located on the lower level, and then up a half flight of steps. There is a small quiet area if you want to step away from the crowd. Earplugs will be available at the bar. There are no moving/flashing lights. Limited seating is available.
