Club Rua

A new club night for the queer community prioritising femme/non-binary/gender minority DJs, showcasing some of the most exciting local talent.

Club Rua is a celebration of underground electronic music and encourages DJs to explore new sounds. Dance into the night with techno, electro, house, trance and queer party tunes. The opening slot of the night will be open to interpretation for the DJ to explore fusion of traditional music styles with electronic music, this can be traditional music from anywhere in the world. There may be flavours of this later in the night too!

Headlining Rua’s debut will be TRIXIMO. Having recently played at Queen’s Yard Summer Party, Body Movements, Haai’s takeover at Pocket Radio and Joyride Rave at Corsica Studios, she is quickly on the rise and is definitely one to watch. Fluidly adapting to the spaces she finds herself in, her sets bounce from sassy to hypnotic, from pounding to psychedelic and from light to dark through the worlds of house, acid techno, electro, and breaks.

Club Rua founder Toraigh will see out the night playing an energetic mix of fast paced drums, minimal grooves and maybe a cheeky remix or two.
